Best Multiplayer Games to Play with Friends on PC

You know what they say, “the more the merrier.” So if you are tired of playing games solo and want to join a virtual world with thousands of other players, we have put together a short list of suggestions of online multiplayer games that you might enjoy playing with your group of mates.

Just as in the gambling world, where new slot machines pop up once in a while, like the brand new Halloween Slot Review, new multiplayer games and modes are released every year in the gaming world.

Multiplayer games come in all shapes and sizes and can either pit you against or pair you with other real-life gamers to offer you a more social experience. What they have in common is the sense of satisfaction they give you when you manage to solve a puzzle or finish a quest by interacting with other players.

Without further ado, here are the best multiplayer games on PC:

Team Fortress 2

Though it had been in active development for a long time when it finally released in 2007, Team Fortress 2 didn’t disappoint. It is still extremely popular today and it now includes a wide variety of play styles. And it’s free to play, supported by in-game purchases, such as weapons, cosmetic items, and keys for randomized crates. The graphics are simple, so the game can run well on most PC configurations, and even on laptops.

The core action of the game pits two player teams against each other in their quest to capture points, move a cart, or steal a briefcase. What makes things interesting and enjoyable is the interplay between the nine playable classes with Pixar-style personality. There is also variety, as encounters can be very different based on match type and the makeup of each team.

Diablo 3

Diablo 3 can only be played online. You can play it on your own or co-operatively in multiplayer mode, but activities like slaying demons, picking up loot and playing dress-up are much more enjoyable with some friends by your side.

Despite being over four years old, Blizzard’s hack-and-slash RPG is still receiving updates, like the new Necromancer class due out in late 2017.

For those out of the loop, gamers have to pick a class of hero and then dive into the game world to destroy evil and find treasures.

Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is a multiplayer online game that falls into the battle royale genre. It’s developed and published by PUBG Corp. and is still in Early Access, but it is definitely one of the best co-op games you could play this year.

Around one hundred players are parachuted onto a small island and scavenge for gear and weapons to tactically kill other groups and take them out while trying to stay alive. The available safe area of the map shrinks gradually, thus forcing encounters between players. The last player or team standing wins the round.
The game is powered by Unreal Engine 4, which means that graphics look good and it doesn’t need important system requirements.

Battlefield 1

Battlefield games are known for delivering some great shooter experiences over the years, pitting against one another massive armies in all sorts of situations throughout history.

In Battlefield 1, developers have chosen to revisit World War 1 as a time period to set their triple-A multiplayer shooter in. The gameplay brings into focus countries and nationalities that no longer exist today, caught in huge battles involving tanks, armoured cars, big war machines and planes.

The game is lighter than a military simulation, but more complex than other shooters on the market and stands out through its strong, feature-rich multiplayer.

Rocket League

Rocket League took the multiplayer world by storm when it was released. With a streamlined design and an easy-to-understand gameplay, the title managed to gather quite a community of over 19 million players. Talking about gameplay, it really is simple: you push a ball across a pitch with a car, and some have even called this “soccer with cars.”

It’s best played in split-screen with friends in the same room.
